First edition. Privately printed by the Avon Society in an edition of 82 copies of which this is one 60 numbered copies signed by the authors and the artist. Wandrei's contribution consists of two short stories, "The Victor Loses" and "The Terrible Suicide," and eight poems that constitute his first writings published in a book. A virtually unobtainable work by an important writer of weird fiction and the co-founder of Arkham House, published while Wandrei was a student at the University of Minnesota. Cloth rubbed at head and tail of spine panel, else a fine copy without dust jacket as issued. Rare. (#9419)
