A run of the last twelve issues (lacking numbers 1 and 2 which are rare). The most important early fanzine devoted to fantasy fiction, with emphasis on the writings of H. P. Lovecraft. There are eleven Lovecraft contributions, some first printings, twelve articles on Lovecraft, and other references to Lovecraft throughout. See Joshi III-G-i-1 and page 461 for contents. Numbers 6 through 10 have three-ring binder holes in near the spines, number 9 has some shallow chipping along the spine edges of the last several leaves, the first leaf of number 12 is brittle and has several closed tears and some shallow chipping at edges (as is usually the case with most extant copies of this fragile issue), the covers of number 14 are spotted and there is shallow chipping (insect damage) to bottom and fore-edges of the front cover. The remaining issues are very good or better. All issues of this magazine are uncommon. (#92536)
