A collection of four sensational, criminous, and supernatural tales. Includes "The Gerrard Street Mystery," a sensational crime story involving clairvoyance, first published in BELFORD'S MONTHLY MAGAZINE, May 1877; "Gagtooth's Image," a sentimental story of a man who dies of a broken heart following the accidental deaths of his wife and child; "The Haunted House on Duchess Street," a ghost story; and "Savareen's Disappearance," a mystery story.
