Montague, with co-author Clement Milton Hammond, published the very rare SF novel THE DOCTOR'S MISTAKE OR WHAT MYRTA SAW. AN EXPERIMENT WITH A LIFE (1888). Wright (III) 3797. Owner's name and address dated 1887 on the verso of the front free endpaper. Cloth worn at edges, inner hinges cracked, pulp text paper tanned, still a sound reading copy.
