First edition. Issued as part of "The Uniform Edition of the Plays of J. M. Barrie." First publication of the play, first performed in 1904. Peter Pan first appeared in Barrie's THE LITTLE WHITE BIRD (1902) and the part concerning Peter later became PETER PAN IN KENSINGTON GARDENS (1906). Barrie later wrote a prose version of the play, PETER AND WENDY (1911). There is no 1904 Scribner edition of PETER PAN, it is a ghost.
