Ayton Symington, original green cloth, front and spine panels stamped in gold, all edges untrimmed. First edition. A selection from the 300 "sketches of rural life and manners" which Fletcher had written, under the pseudonym of "A Son of the Soil," for the LEEDS MERCURY. Spine evenly browned, some uneven fading to front panel, some offsetting to endpapers, some scattered foxing in the text, still a very good copy of a scarce book. (#112647).
