Collects the title novella, a domestic melodrama set mostly in London, and four short stories, one of which, "L'Avance," is a tale of a post-mortem experience. Amateurish, flat writing. Not in Miller. Mild foxing to top and fore-edges of text block, a very good copy. (#114159).
