First edition. Collects ninety or so historical anecdotes designed to inculcate moral fiber in the young. Maine born John Frost (1800-1859) wrote many books for the instruction of young readers; this is one of his more uncommon ones. Small faded spot on front panel, two signatures a bit proud, generally a very good copy with bright spine stamping. (#128435).
