Massachusetts author and editor of books for children. Probably her first book. Cloth worn at edges, some soiling and mild staining to cloth, fragile white stamping on spine perished, 14 mm horizontal tear in plate facing p. 158 (not affecting image), a tight, good copy of an uncommon book.
