Sixteen lines on half sheet of letter size paper, ribbon copy, dated "Apr. 15, 1929" in different typewriter at top left, signed in full by author (black ink, forward slanting hand) at bottom. "Four quatrains of iambic trimeter but with a doubled (six-beat) line in the final position. The poem tries to capture the betwixt-and-between mood of February, too late for winter, too early for spring, a fitting image for a fragile love affair." - Robert Eldridge. Sidney-Fryer, Donald.
