An antiwar novel by Suttner (1843-1914), an Austrian novelist, radical pacifist and winner of the 1905 Nobel Peace Prize, set in a future "Age of Flying" in which the "Rose Order" brings about world peace. Translated into English by Nathan Haskell Dole as WHEN THOUGHTS WILL SOAR: A ROMANCE OF THE IMMEDIATE FUTURE (1914).
