SCIENTI-SNAPS. February 1939 ., Walter E. Marconette, number 1 volume 2.

The fifth of the fourteen issues and the first to be produced by mimeography. "Marconette's mimeography, like his hektography, was a paragon of neatness; and his magazine continued to increase in popularity through the first half of 1939, featuring a medley of fiction, articles and columns by well known fans of the day. In August, J. Chapman Miske was added to its staff, and he aided in producing the finest chapters of its history." - Moskowitz, The Immortal Storm, pp. 200-201. A "beautiful little publication ..." - Warner, All Our Yesterdays, p. 279. Pavlat and Evans, Fanzine Index (1965), p. 104. Front wrapper chipped at edges and detached at staples, a very good copy. (#143359).
