This long-running down-market fiction magazine featured a complete novella in each issue, sometimes with one or more very short stories as makeweights. The present issue (dated June and priced at 3d.) contains "Gideon" by C. A. Mercer, plus several stories by equally forgotten authors. Wrappers torn at edges, loss of bottom inch of spine panel extending into bottom-right corner of rear panel, but without loss of any significant text, sound, good copy. Copies in original wrappers of this title are quite uncommon now. (#143645).
