CAMPAIGN SPEECHES OF 1932 by President Hoover [and] Ex-President Coolidge. Garden City: Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc., 1933. Octavo, pp. [i-iv] v-vi [1-2] 3-329 [330: blank], original blue cloth, front cover stamped in blind, spine panel stamped in gold, top edge stained blue, other edges rough trimmed. First edition. Boldly signed by Hoover on the front free endpaper. There is a single speech by Coolidge, the remainder are by Hoover. Hoover, a Republican, was defeated in the 1932 presidential election by FDR. Among Hoover's books, this one is somewhat uncommon. Faint spot on front cover, gold lettering on spine panel very dull, but lettering is readable, a very good, presentable copy with tight and clean interior. (#144006).
First edition so stated on copyright page.
