Note: Each print is signed and identified by Adams on the verso. A series of sixteen photographs taken on the Sierra Club's annual outing for 1930. The High Sierra at the headwaters of the south fork of the San Joaquin River (now part of the High Sierra Wilderness Area) is the subject of most of the photographs. The second of the two privately portfolios of Sierra Club outings, the first being images of the 1929 outing. These portfolios were made to order. A portfolio of the 1930 outing with 23 prints was auctioned in 2020 ($126,000 all in), so number of prints vary.
