Fifteen stories chosen by Allen, seven reprinted from earlier books (STRANGE STORIES, THE BECKONING HAND and IVAN GREET'S MASTERPIECE), the other eight first appearing here in book form, plus one, "The Churchwarden's Brother," that is original to this collection.
