The title pages of the first eight volumes are not dated, the last two, comprising THE LIFE AND LETTERS OF JOHN MUIR by William Frederic Badè are dated MDCCCCXXIII and MDCCCCXXIV respectively. These two volumes are first editions, the other volumes are reprints. Currey does not know if the first printings of the first eight volumes of the Sierra edition had title pages dated 1917 (as BAL implies). BAL 14776. A fine set. Lovely condition. (#153650).
