Highlights of this collection include first book appearance of "Rogues in the House" by Robert E. Howard, "The Author's Tale" by L. A. Lewis, "The Horror in the Museum" by Hazel Heald (anonymous collaboration with H. P. Lovecraft), and the first appearance of "The Metronome" by August Derleth. Boards lightly rubbed at edges, a nearly fine copy in good, clean pictorial dust jacket with some wear along top and bottom edges including shallow chipping at head and tail of spine panel and corner tips, rubbing along front spine and flap folds, 15 mm closed tear and associated wrinkling at top edge of front page, mild soiling to spine and rear panels, and two internal tape mends. A bright, attractive copy of this very fragile, cheaply made book in a fairly decent jacket. All of the Not at Night titles have become uncommon, especially in jacket. (#157531).
