Collects nine stories, four of which were first published in the pulps between 1932 and 1944. In the long title story (first published in 1932 as "The Time Conqueror" in WONDER STORIES), the Brain, seemingly immortal, rules Earth in the far future. Narrow loss to 70 mm area along upper end of outer rear hinge (damage perpetrated by a wee beastie), otherwise a very nice copy in very good dust jacket with matching loss, a small chip from the upper left corner of the rear panel, and tiny tear and associated wrinkle at lower front spine fold.
