Presentation copy with signed inscription by Pragnell to Donald A. Wollheim on front free endpaper: "With compliments and all good / wishes, to Donald A. Wollheim. / Festus Pragnell / Southampton, 26/3/37." A fantasy set on Kilsona, an inhabited planet of the microcosm. Pragnell's summary of the planet's history is largely based on the writings of H. Geewells, especially his book WAR FROM THE CLOUDS. One of the companion volumes associated with Philip Allan's classic "Creeps" series. In 333. Locke, A Spectrum of Fantasy, p. 178.
