The first collection of short fiction by Julian Leonard Street (1879–1947), successful Chicago journalist and author of popular fiction. Collects nine stories (not eleven as called for on the jacket blurb) including "The Jazz Baby." Smith, American Fiction, 1901-1925 S-1021. Early owner's signature on the front free endpaper. Lettering on spine panel dull, a very good copy in very good printed dust jacket with wear and shallow chipping at edges. (#161290).
