Bloch became Kirby's client in the late 1970s and it was Kirby who suggested Bloch write PSYCHO II, as well as PSYCHO HOUSE, his last published novel. The main topic of this group of letters is completing, editing and publishing ONCE AROUND THE BLOCH, his autobiography. The other major topic is anthologies, those containing his fiction, and the two he edited (with Martin H. Greenberg), PSYCHO-PATHS (1991) and MONSTERS IN OUR MIDST (1993). Bloch died on 23 September 1994 at the age of 77, ending a writing career that lasted 60 years, including more than 30 years in television and film.
