Romantic melodrama about an attempt to sabotage a floating platform being towed to the location where it is to be used as a refueling station for transatlantic air traffic. Translated into English as F. P. 1 DOES NOT REPLY (1933). The 1932 UFA film, directed by Karl Hartl and scripted by Walter Reisch and Siodmak, was based on this novel.
