Josef Nesvadba (1926 -2005), a Czech psychiatrist and writer, is best known in the English-speaking world for his SF short stories, some translated into English and collected in VAMPIRES LTD. STORIES OF SCIENCE AND FANTASY (1964) and the abridged collections IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN (1970, a.k.a. THE LOST FACE (1971).
