The seventh Judge Peck mystery. All but one of the ten Judge Peck novels use Derleth's "Sac Prairie" setting. Spine lean, a clean, nearly fine copy in good dust jacket with light wear at edges, some dust soiling to yellow background ink, 35 mm closed tear along lower edge of rear flap fold, and internal tape mends at spine ends with light show through on outer surface.
