A Sac Prairie novel set in Wisconsin in the 1850s, largely in and around Sac Prairie, which shows how the spell of rural America has changed the people who have immigrated from the old world to the new. Top edge stain partially faded, else a fine copy in very good pictorial dust jacket priced $2.50 on the front flap with light wear along top and bottom edges, mostly at spine ends and corner tips, and 15 mm closed tear at upper edge of rear panel.
