Robertson, 1916. 21.5 cm, pp. [i-xvi] [1] 2-16 [17-24] pages [first three and last four leaves are blank, first and last used as front and rear pate-downs], five inserted plates, original overlapping blue gray wrappers printed in gold over stiff boards, illustration in color affixed to front panel, fore and bottom edges untrimmed. First edition. A poem. The five inserted plates reproduce photographs of Yosemite Valley taken by W. E. Dassonville. The illustration affixed to the front wrapper is a color reproduction of a painting by H. J. Breuer. According to Sterling, 2000 copies printed. BAL 18765 (Binding A). First conjugate leaf in first gathering partially separated along fold, shallow chips at spine ends and along overlapping lower edge of front wrapper, wrappers a bit sunned, associational inscription on front paste-down and note on rear free endpaper, a good copy.
