(#166022) Yosemite Valley: History, description and statement of conditions relative to the proposed recession to the national government. CALIFORNIA STATE BOARD OF TRADE.

Yosemite Valley: History, description and statement of conditions relative to the proposed recession to the national government. N.p. California State Board of Trade, n.d. [circa 1904]. 22x15.2 cm (octavo), pp. [1-2] 3-33 [34-36: blank], folded map printed in green and black, original gray wrappers printed in black, stapled. First edition. At head of title: "California State Board of Trade Circular Number 13." Issued with and without the folded map titled "Map of Yosemite Forest Reserve," this copy has the map. The Board approved the proposed recession of Yosemite Valley and the Mariposa Grove to the federal government who would, in their opinion, do more than California to promote tourism. Appendix IV contains a list of California legislative appropriations for the care and maintenance of the Valley and the Mariposa Grove from 1866 to 1904. A very good copy. Copies with the map are rare. (#166022).
