Probable third printing of this map, with considerable revision, including trail from Snow's La Casa Nevada to Little Yosemite (built 1871) and Conway's Four Mile Trail to Glacier Point (started in 1871; completed in 1872). This map was printed to accompany copies of the 1869 and 1870 octavo editions of The Yosemite Guide-book and "may also be had separately" (The Yosemite Guide-book, 1871, page 12, note). Folded as issued, two closed tears at right edge with small associated crease, a good copy. These maps are printed on light weight paper stock and are very delicate; this is a better than average example. (#166207).
