A historic hotel, today "one of the few surviving examples of an American architectural genre: the wooden Victorian beach resort" (Wikipedia). The 399-room hotel opened for business in February 1888. E. S. Babcock, one of the original investors, is listed as the hotel's manager. Not in Rocq (but similar to 7572). A very good copy. (#166303).
