Probably published in 1925, after June 1925 (mentions the 1925 Santa Barbara earthquake that damaged Mission Santa Barbara, as well as the 1924 enrollment figure for the University of California, Berkley). Points of interest in the Sierra Nevada include towns in the Gold Rush country, Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Forest and Mount Whitney; locations east of the range include Mono Lake and Owens Lake.
