[Yosemite National Park, California]: Yosemite Transportation System, 1926. 23x20.4 cm, folded to 23x10.2 cm, pp. [1] 2-9 [10-11] 12-19 [20], 62 mostly small illustrations, plus small drawings throughout the text, 9 maps, self wrappers, stapled. A detailed brochure, printed in orange and black, promoting auto stage services provided by the Yosemite Transportation Service. Includes a four-page color bird's eye map, artist not credited, probably not Widfoss, but maybe Bull, captioned "Watercolor sketch of Yosemite National Park, illustrating the extent of the Park and showing the principal routes in the Park of the Yosemite Transportation System and the Horseshoe Route. The size of Yosemite Valley in proportion to the rest of Yosemite National Park is enlarged to show the location of the famous points of interest." In 1925 the Yosemite Park and Curry Co. was formed by consolidation of Curry Camping Co. and Yosemite National Park Co. The consolidation included a buyout of the Horseshoe Route which became part of the Y T S. The all-year highway between Merced and Yosemite Valley was dedicated 31 July 1926.
