Yosemite [cover title].

Yosemite [cover title]. [Yosemite National Park, California]: Yosemite National Park Company, n.d. [1920]. 23.4x20.4 cm, folded to 23.4x10.2 cm, pp. 1-23 [24], 41 illustrations (including cover drawing), 2 maps, self wrappers, stapled. An elaborate brochure, printed in orange and black, with general information on tourist attractions in and around Yosemite Valley, and guest services provided by the Yosemite National Park Co., prepared for the 1920-1921 season. Advertises Big Tree Lodge, built in 1920 and the park's forthcoming Nature Guide Service, established in 1921 (?). Promotes the National Park Service "See America through the National Parks" program; mentions the creation of Zion National Park, 19 November 1919 and notes that the "1920 season" of Rainier National Park opens "June 15th and closes September 15th." Prices include the war tax, repealed in 1921. The two maps are a four-panel bird's eye view of Yosemite drawn by W. H. Bull looking east to Mono Lake and into Nevada from above El Portal, showing points of interest and park accommodations, and Pacific Coast "national parks auto highways." A very good copy.
