First edition. The Memorial Edition, limited to 1050 sets, of which 1000 were for sale. This is set number 333. The first volume is signed on the limitation page by First Lady Edith Kermit Roosevelt. The publication price of this set of Roosevelt's works was $240. Although the spine panels just a bit rubbed, faded and/or hand soiled, this is a very attractive, very good set with tight inner hinges and fine interior. A letter from the publisher and a tattered copy of the publisher's prospectus are laid in. (#166526).
