Pages 14-15 provide "services and rates for hotels, lodges and camps in the Yosemite National Park" that "are in effect for the 1927 season," including Yosemite's new hotel, the Ahwahnee, which "will be ready for occupancy during the summer of 1927." The "gateways" map (signed Della Taylor) was drawn by American artist Della Taylor Hoss (1900-1997), who lived in Yosemite Valley from 1928 until 1942 with her husband, Herman Hoss, a Federal Magistrate and the treasurer of Yosemite Park and Curry Company. Della drew several pictorial posters and maps of Yosemite and illustrated Mary Curry Tresidder’s Trees of Yosemite (1932) with thirty-four Art Deco-style linoleum block prints of trees and cones.
