First edition. "The Yosemite," pages 133-160. The Bedells spent two weeks in the public camp near Camp Curry in late May. On their way to the Valley they visited the Mariposa Grove of Big Trees and spent a night in Wawona. Due to heavy snow they used the four-mile trail to overnight at the Glacier Point Hotel. There is a good account of nightly entertainment at Camp Curry in the 1920s. A bright, nearly fine copy.
