[1907-1914]. 25x31 cm, 24 leaves, 30 illustrations (including cover illustration), original overlapping gray wrappers printed in black and silver with illustration pasted to the front cover, string tied. First edition. The publisher's imprint, "PUBLISHED BY /THE ALBERTYPE CO. / BROOKLYN, N. Y.," is printed on the inside front cover. Twenty-nine captioned photographic illustrations, most measuring approximately 15x 20 cm (6 x 7 7/8 inches) tipped onto twenty-four leaves. An additional photograph is affixed to the front cover. Includes a photograph of a YVRR train in the Merced River canyon and two photographs of El Portal, one showing the railroad depot, the other a two-photo composite showing the office and the exterior of the huge Hotel Del Portal, which was destroyed by fire 27 October 1917. All of the photographs were taken before 1915. One of the more elaborate Yosemite souvenir albums of the era. A very good copy. (#166635).
