Jay Haynes & Bro., Official Photographers N. P. R. R. 392 Jackson St., Cor. 6th, St. Paul, Minn. Yellowstone Park and Northern Pacific Views." along with a list of the sixty views in the series. Frank Jay Haynes (1853-1921), known as F. Jay or the Professor to almost all who knew him, played a major role in documenting through photographs the settlement and early history of the great Northwest. He became both the official photographer of the Northern Pacific Railway and of Yellowstone National Park as well as operating early transportation concessions in the park. Small stain to mount at upper right corner, print not affected. A stunning image. (#166686).
