A redesigned Depression-era brochure, which promoted "keeping 'house' at low cost in both national parks," that was largely focused on Sequoia's Giant Forest region and the Giant Forest Lodge which offered "special rates-1936 season Giant Forest Lodge only / 10% discount for a stay of one week or more." The Sequoia and General Grant National Parks Company was organized in 1926 by Howard Hays who acquired a twenty-year contract for the Sequoia concession. George L. Mauger is listed as general manager (a position he assumed in 1929). A fine copy. (#166731).
