This report was issued in both cloth and wrappers, this being one of the paperbound copies. The eleventh of nineteen reports prepared by the Yosemite Commissioners. These reports, with some variation in titles and printer's imprints, were printed biennially (save for the 1880 report) through 1904, except for the years 1899/1900, for which no report was published. In 1906 the federal government took back the grant and no report was issued for 1905/1906. For a checklist of the reports see Farquhar (1948), title 23. This report includes "To Preserve from Defacement and Promote the Use of the Yosemite Valley," the report of State Engineer William Hammond Hall dated 20 May 1882, pp. 13-31. Currey and Kruska 34.
