First edition. The sixteenth of nineteen reports prepared by the Yosemite Commissioners. These reports, with some variation in titles and printer's imprints, were printed biennially (save for the 1880 report) through 1904, except for the years 1899/1900, for which no report was published. In 1906 the federal government took back the grant and no report was issued for 1905/1906. For a checklist of the reports see Farquhar (1948), title 23. This report includes a sketch map of Yosemite Valley showing roads in the valley and those leading into it, as well as trails, prominent scenic features and tourist facilities. Currey and Kruska 34.
