Promotes the Yosemite Transportation Company's "double loop" route from Merced to Yosemite Valley by the Big Oak Flat Road and return by the Coulterville Road. Describes scenic attractions and accommodations along the stage route and in Yosemite Valley. Includes schedules for Santa Fe's San Joaquin Valley passenger train service and the Yosemite Transportation Company's stage service. The maps are "Santa Fe to Yosemite Valley, in connection with Yosemite Transportation Co.," 18x27.7 cm, a detailed map showing the YTC's stage line, other stage routes and wagon roads and trails, as well as points of interest, towns and settlements, stage stops and visitor accommodations, printed by Poole Bros., Chicago, dated 2-22-'04, and two very small maps showing the "Double Loop." Most of the photographs are credited to Scarborough Photo, the large three-panel panorama, "Yo Semite Valley from Oak Flat Point," is signed in the plate by A. C. Pillsbury. A nearly fine copy.
