UNIDENTIFIED PHOTOGRAPHER. [Yosemite Valley] Yosemite Falls [title supplied]. Hand colored photograph. Hand colored photograph, 25x20 cm (9 7/8 x 7 7/8 inches). Probably originally 10 x 8 inches and a bit trimmed; adhered to a stiff brown card mount. Circa 1920s. An unusual treatment of a soft focus or imagist style image popular in the late teens and early twenties which was then hand colored. Not to my taste, but Mrs. A. Ackworth, 1929 Hooper Avenue, probably Los Angeles, California, had it framed and presumably hung it. Very good. (#167546).
