Cover title reads: "Yosemite, Hetch-Hetchy, Big Trees of Tuolumne and Calaveras, Mother Lode, Yosemite Valley via Sierra Railway and Big Oak Flat Stage Line." Signed in type at conclusion of text on page 31: "Sierra Railway Company of California, 229 Crocker Bldg., San Francisco, Cal. ... S. H. Smith, Gen'l Pass. Agt. Sierra Railway Company, Jamestown, Cal." An extensive, well-illustrated brochure promoting points of interest in Calaveras and Tuolumne counties that provides descriptions and itineraries for excursions to Yosemite Valley and other tourist destinations along and near the route of Sierra Railway, including Hetch-Hetchy Valley and the Tuolumne and Calaveras big tree groves. The brochure promotes travel on the Hetch-Hetchy and Yosemite Valleys Railroad, the logging railroad of the West Side Flume & Lumber Company (later the West Side Lumber Company), which commenced operation in 1901. OCLC locates two copies: Istituto Nazionale di Studi sul Rinascimento, Firenze, Italy and CU-B. CU-B says its copy is Rocq 16620, but the brochure is neither Rocq 16620 nor 16621. Not in Rocq.
