First edition. This souvenir book, published by the Yosemite Park and Curry Company, was prepared by Stanley Plumb, the company's publicity director. Adams, under contract to take pictures for the company, but unaware of this publication until it was in print, was dissatisfied with the poor reproduction of his prints. Four editions were issued, the last in 1940. Includes many rarely seen Adams photographs. Later editions had minor changes in illustrations. A fine copy. The plain glassine wrapper is present.
