A standard Yosemite guidebook. Excellent illustrations from photographs by Ansel Adams. The first through the fourth editions (printings really) are identical, except for the changed printing statements. Provenance: A presentation copy with signed inscription by Francis P. Farquhar on the inside front cover: "For John and Bernadine Hadfield / An invitation to return to / Yosemite under sunnier / skies. / Francis P. Farquhar / October 1945." A very good copy. (#168015).
