THE GAME OF EMPIRE. Poul Anderson.

THE GAME OF EMPIRE. [Sutton, Surrey, UK and New York]: Severn House, [1995, i.e. November 1994]. Octavo, boards. First British edition. A space opera featuring Diana, Dominic Flandry's daughter, set during the twilight years of a decadent empire facing an inevitable dark age of interstellar barbarism. Part of Anderson's Technic History series. A confusing edition as apparently, there was no American issue of this book, although the copyright page states that this is the "first hardcover edition published in the USA 1995 ..." The U.S. price, $22.00, is printed at the top right of the front flap, and the UK price, £15.99, is printed at the bottom right of the front flap. First published in 1985 as a Baen paperback original. There was a SFBC edition, published in October 1985 at $4.98 with gutter code "P033." A fine copy in fine dust jacket. (#168195).

Price: $100.00
