A promotional pamphlet describing Kings Canyon, Tehipite Valley, Giant Forest, General Grant Grove, and Kern Canyon with information on transportation and accommodations. Wilderness travel in the Kings-Kern back country is enthusiastically endorsed. The three maps are based upon work by J. N. Le LeConte. First published in 1905, this third, and last, edition has minor changes in text and illustrations, otherwise it is similar to the 1906 revised edition. Cover split along spine fold and detached from text block, a good copy. (#168362).
