A mixed lot, mailed and unmailed, including hand colored cards and RPCs. Several cards show human activity in the park; hotels and transportation. At least two were marketed by the short-lived Desmond Park Service Company. There are RPCs of souvenirs made by Yosemite's "birdman" Herbert Sonn. Two postcard views of Hetch Hetchy Dam published by Ed. Hess of Stockton, California, are present. Other publishers and distributors include N. L. A. Cody, Merced, California, Camp Curry Studio, Yosemite, California, Newman Post Card Co., Los Angeles, California, Edward H. Mitchell, San Francisco, California, and others. All the postcards are very good or better; at least one has removed stamp. (#170123).
