Single sheet, 21x28 cm, folded to make four pages, blue gray paper stock. 1 illustration drawn by Charles Dorman Robinson. The elaborate illustration (engraved by Moss Eng. Co., New York) is a composite of seven drawings by Charles Dorman Robinson. From 1877 to 1892 John K. Barnard leased the Yosemite Falls Hotel, built in 1876 by Coulter and Murphy and the old Hutchings group. Following renovations the hotel survived until 1940. Following a brief promotion of hotel services, the leaflet consists of "Table of Altitudes at Yosemite Valley" compiled by Capt. Wheeler, U. S. A., and table of distances from Barnard's Hotel to various destinations by stage, carriage or saddle. Chip from upper left corner with loss of "B" and part of "A" in "BARNARD'S" in first line of text. Two horizontal folds, closed tear along part of one fold, several creases, some soiling, good only. The only copy seen by the compiler. (#172668).
